Our team can work with you and your properties on budget development for your upcoming Capital Expenditure (CapEx) needs. We currently work with an owner of 300+ hotels to assist in budget planning for the upcoming quarter or fiscal year.
In addition, we can work with you on your daily CapEx maintenance needs. We understand that you cannot always wait until the next renovation to replace worn-out or damaged items in your rooms. Our goal is to keep your rooms open and in rentable status. We can be your in-house purchasing team.
Our team can work with you on your Due Diligence evaluation of a property you plan to acquire. Our room by room condition surveys will help assure that you know what you are buying.
From the Due Diligence Survey, we can create a budget for FF&E replacements needed to help you in your contract negotiations with the seller.

For over 13 years, HSI Design Group has been the go-to team for a nationwide hotel company to interface with their insurance carrier and construction management team on restoration of their hotels that have experienced catastrophic loss. In 2017 alone, we responded to damage from Hurricanes Harvey and Irma that affected over 30 hotels. With damages ranging from a few flooded rooms, to the entire hotel being taken out of service for repairs, HSI quickly calculated quantities, developed budgets, forecast FF&E needs to vendors, coordinated warehousing and site delivery, and issued purchase orders for replacement FF&E totaling over $3,000,000.
Unfortunately, some catastrophes are total losses. We also provide FF&E replacement cost value to assure your insurance claim covers all damaged items.
